Inspired primarily by architectural blueprints and technological sketches, Tegeder creates seemingly abstract environments composed of interconnected recurrent forms. Tegeder employs an analytical approach towards both color and material in her work. Through her use of disorienting spaces of floating architectural fragments, and a precarious balance of objects, Tegeder references and reconsiders early 20th century painting and design, while at the same time instilling a very personal aesthetic that is ironically evocative of post-modern visions of the future.
