"Rathbone's favored forms include herds, packs, flocks and multitudes, often using small marks and colors that would go unnoticed on the gallery wall if not for their population. All dimensions act together in the mutual language of drawing. Three-dimensional forms reduce to flat shadows, thin wires sketched through the air and two-dimensional drawings on the walls all take equal part in constituting her sculptural forms."
